TCL K70 Power with 6,500mAh battery, Helio G100 chip unveiled, TCL K70 to follow | Infinium-tech

TCL quietly introduced two new 4G phones, the K70 and K70 Power. It seems there is a third one, but there is hardly any information about him.

Let’s first take a look at the TCL K70 Power as it’s actually operational Lazada Thailand. The phone has a Helio G100 Turbo chipset with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage in any case is 256GB and there is a hybrid slot that offers the option between two SIM cards or one SIM + microSD.

The “Power” in the name refers to the 6,500mAh battery with 33W charging. According to official data, the phone can last for 3 days on a single charge. If you press that, you’ll get over 12 hours of gaming or 21 hours of video watching on a single charge. The battery is rated for 1,000 charge cycles (retaining at least 80% of its original capacity), which should be enough for 5 years of use.

The front features a 6.8″ LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1,570px and a 120Hz refresh rate. Using Sunlight mode, the display can reach a peak brightness of 750 nits. A punch hole on the front houses an 8MP selfie camera.

Despite appearances, there is only one camera on the back – a 50MP module. The second lens is helpful. The phone is equipped with stereo speakers with DTS support and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint reader is placed on the edge.

The K70 Power is rated IP64 for splash resistance. It also has Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC connectivity. But still, it only has a 4G modem. And the USB port is only wired for v2.0 speeds, but that goes without saying.

The TCL K70 Power can be pre-ordered in Nebula Blue and Space Grey. The 4/256GB model is priced at THB 13,090 ($415/€350/₹37,500), while the price of the 8GB RAM model goes up to THB 14,090 ($445/€380/₹40,000).

Note that while you’ll get a USB-C 2.0 cable and a TPU case in the box, you’ll need to provide your own 33W charger.

TCL K70 Power Features

The TCL K70 uses the same Helio G100 chipset and the same 6.8″ 120Hz 720p+ LCD. However, we’ve only seen one configuration so far, 4/128GB, and the battery is smaller at 5,200mAh capacity.

there is user manual (PDF) for the K70 on tcl.com, but the phone itself is MIA. We couldn’t find it in any store.

Strange that it appears on Infor Valencia, an IT maintenance company. Looking at the site, it appears to be a supplier rather than a general store, so the next bit may not be 100% correct. TCL K70 listed with price €135.50 (including VAT), while the K70 Power (4/256GB) is listed here €174.05. The specifications listed by Infor Valencia match the specifications in the manual, for what it’s worth.
