Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra as a successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 later this month. Ahead of its launch, a new leak suggests that the flagship foldable could eventually offer a flagship-level camera experience.
In a blog post on Korean platform Naver, tipster Lanczuk claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will “inherit the key camera features of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.”

According to the tipster, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will support better low-light performance and advanced image processing as well as video LUTs for professional color grading.
The foldable is also said to have several camera-centric software features, including dual-video recording using the front and rear cameras.
However, previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will not have any major camera hardware upgrades. It is expected to retain the 200MP primary rear camera, a 10MP periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide unit.
Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra alongside the wider Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 on July 22.
