Samsung teases the next Galaxy Watch and its AI-powered “Health Companion” | Infinium-tech
Samsung is holding its next Unpacked event on July 22 in London, and on that occasion it is going to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Flip8, but according to several previous rumors, also the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and the Galaxy Watch9.
Today the company released the video you can watch below, teasing its next smartwatch, while also calling it a “new AI-powered health companion.” Samsung says the Galaxy Watch will “play an important role as a health-first, always-on gateway to advanced, personalized AI”.
The company promises that just wearing the new Galaxy Watch will bring you “a new level of intuitive well-being.” The device will work continuously in the background, “making comprehensive health care a seamless part of your daily routine”.
It also advertises “all new internal components” as well as improved battery life, meaning the upcoming watches will “track your health for longer and with greater accuracy”, and will be able to provide “intelligent, AI-powered insights” to help you better understand and proactively manage your health in real-time.
The text in the video itself says that we can expect “a sleek shape, a comfortable titanium design and a crystal-clear display” as well as “a super long-lasting battery and a brand new processor with increased efficiency.” This watch is “built for extreme trail running, sea diving, cycling and intense workouts”. You can simply raise your wrist and talk to your AI. It has built-in heart rate, calorie consumption, blood pressure, sleep apnea, and automatic body composition tracking.
