The company announced that it has begun distributing units to around 17,000 participating athletes, who will be able to experience the new flip foldable even before the official market launch of the device.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition comes in a custom-made yellow colour with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic logo engraved on the back panel. Every device has an eSIM pre-installed with 100GB of 5G data courtesy of Orange.
Samsung Wallet also includes a complimentary public transportation access card, and comes preloaded with some Olympic apps “to help athletes gain new experiences and connect with new people during their stay in Paris,” the company said in a press release.
