Samsung releases the first One UI 9 beta based on Android 17 | Infinium-tech
Yesterday, Samsung announced the rollout of the One UI 9 beta program, and today it added a few more details. Meanwhile, the first One UI 9 beta build is now available for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in Germany and the UK.
This version comes in the form S94xBXXU2ZZEF, where the “x” varies depending on the exact phone you have. It’s a 3.6GB download, so if you want to enter the beta program and get it, make sure you’re doing so on a fast enough network.

The build brings with it the May 2026 security patch level, a more customizable Quick Panel, new features in Samsung Notes, support for custom profile cards in Samsung Contacts, and automatic flagging of high-risk apps.
To participate in the beta testing process, go to the Samsung Members app and tap the banner. Note that this build is only rolling out in Germany and the UK at the moment, but should be available in the US and Korea soon. Then, starting from May 26, it will also reach India and Poland.
