Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim camera sensors detailed: 200+50+50MP | Infinium-tech

earlier this month, ice universe It was posted that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will have an Ultra camera, but no further details were provided. Now another leakster, Sanju ChoudharyClaims to know the exact sensors that will be used in the mid-season upgrade (expected to replace the slim S25 FE).

The main camera will feature a 200MP sensor, a new ISOCELL HP5, which some reports claim will be 1/1.56″ in size according to the leakster, though older reports claimed it would be 1/1.3″ (similar to the S24 Same size inside as HP2 Ultra). This sensor is usually mentioned in the context of the Galaxy Z Fold7.

Both the ultra-wide camera and telephoto camera will use a 50MP JN5 sensor (1/2.76”, 0.64μm pixels). Some reports claim that the S25 Ultra will use JN3 (0.7μm pixels) instead, but that’s close enough. One major difference between the current and upcoming S Ultra and the Galaxy S25 Slim is that it will only have a telephoto camera.

according to ChowdharyThe slim telephoto camera will have 3.5x optical zoom. It will reportedly use the All Lens on Prism (ALoP) design, which Samsung unveiled just yesterday. It inverts the traditional periscope design by placing the lens in front of the prism, not behind.

The advantage of this layout is that it can be packed more tightly – the ALOP modules are both smaller and thinner than traditional periscope designs. And thinness will be the main selling point of the S25 Slim.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch in the second half of 2025 and if successful, it may influence the design of the S26 series.
