Report: OnePlus and Realme are merging | Infinium-tech
There has been a lot of controversy over the past few months over the ranks of OnePlus and Realme and the latest report from China suggests that the two brands have merged. This likely means that both brands will share product development, strategy and resources. This should also extend to software development, product roadmap and device launch timing.

Wang Wei, a former VP of Realme, is reportedly set to become the deputy general manager. According to the new report, both the brands will merge their domestic and global operations while maintaining their brand identities. Marketing and services will also be shared under the new sub-business unit.

Till the time of writing the news, neither OnePlus nor Realme has officially commented on this matter.
