The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was launched in September last year, and so now its successor is just a few weeks away. According to a new rumour from China, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ could use the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 SoC. This is the same chip that powers the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.

For reference, note that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ also came with a MediaTek chipset, the Dimensity 7200 Ultra. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is also said to feature a 50 MP rear camera, which is interesting since its previous model had a 200 MP (main) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) setup.

We’re assuming the 50 MP sensor mentioned in this leak is the one for the main camera, but theoretically it could be an ultrawide as well. However, one thing is for sure (according to the same source): the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will not have a dedicated telephoto snapper.

The 14 Pro+ will reportedly feature an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and a camera island design reminiscent of recent Honor phones. As always, we have to caution you not to take any of this for granted – it’s best to remain skeptical, at least until more rumors and leaks confirm this information.
