Redmi Note 14 4G in for review | Infinium-tech
Say hello to the newly announced global Redmi Note 14 4G. It comes with a gray case, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a 33W charger. It comes in Black, Purple, Blue or Lime Green colors and has at least three memory options – 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB. The basic one costs €200/£180, while the middle version costs €230/£230.
Compared to its 5G namesake, the Redmi Note 14 4G has an 8% larger 5,500mAh battery, albeit with slower 33W charging. The obvious difference in connectivity comes from the proxy of the chipset – the 4G model packs the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra, while the 5G uses the 6nm Dimensity 7025 Ultra. The latter has Cortex-A78 cores that run faster at 2.5GHz compared to the Helio G99’s 2.2GHz Cortex-A76.
The 5G model is also dustproof at IP64 compared to IP54 of the Redmi Note 14 4G.
Redmi Note 14 4G in green, 5G in purple
Like its predecessor, the Redmi Note 14 4G has a 108MP main camera but it drops the 8MP ultrawide in favor of a 2MP macro camera. There is another 2MP for depth sensing. The front camera is a 20MP unit – an upgrade from the old 16MP.
Redmi Note 14 4G is beautiful in lime green color
The Redmi Note 14 4G is a simple phone – with flat Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and flat plastic on the back. But it’s attractive in this lime green colorway. We would expect the same from Mist Purple and Ocean Blue and stay away from Midnight Black.
That’s how long we have for the Redmi Note 14 4G!
