Amazon Prime Video gets new UI that helps you find what’s included with your Prime subscription | Infinium-tech
Amazon Prime Video is a streaming service, but it’s also a hub that allows you to access other streaming services (like Max). This is all great, but it can get a little confusing as to what you can watch at no extra cost and what you can’t. Amazon is currently rolling out a redesigned UI that fixes this and brings other improvements too.
In the new UI, there are several tabs on the top row. By default, there is a Prime tab, which shows only the movies and TV shows that are available with your Prime subscription. Next to that is the Subscriptions tab where you can add partner services.
Additional content will still appear on Prime Video’s homescreen – meaning titles you’ll need to rent/purchase, as well as content from mentioned partner services (even those you aren’t subscribed to).
Additional services include Max, Paramount+, Starz, PBS, BBC, Shudder, MGM+, Crunchyroll, and more. This varies by region, of course.
• Renting movies • Subscribing to other services
To make it clear which title comes from where, movies and TV shows will have the logo of the corresponding streaming service on their poster images. This way you can tell at a glance if it’s one of the services you’re subscribed to or not.
And you don’t even have to ask – the new UI also has AI features. Here, artificial intelligence is used to create specific recommendations for each user, which will help narrow down the thousands of available titles to a short list of things you might like. Movie/show summaries are also created with LLMs.

Or you can go the old fashioned way and choose from the “Top 10” and “Trending Shows” categories that are popular in your area. If you still can’t decide what to watch, there’s also live TV with stations available 24/7.
Kam Keshmiri, VP of Design at Prime Video, said, “With the user experience improvements we’ve made, customers will be provided with an easy-to-navigate entertainment destination where they can discover new titles and enjoy favorites, as well as sign up or switch add-on subscriptions with just a few clicks. Best of all, they can do all of this using the same login.”
