Realme Watch S5 debuts with up to 20 day battery, 1.43-inch AMOLED display | Infinium-tech

Along with the launch of Realme 16T in India, the company also unveiled the new Realme Watch S5 smartwatch in the country. The watch comes in two colors, a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, and is claimed to offer up to 20 days of battery life.

The Realme Watch S5 features a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466×466 pixels resolution and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness.

The smartwatch comes with an aluminum alloy case and Panda Glass protection on the front. It is paired with silica gel straps and weighs 49.6 grams including the strap. Meanwhile, the bottom housing, which houses the health tracking sensors, is made of PVC.

For health and fitness tracking, the Watch S5 supports heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, women’s health monitoring, VO2 Max measurement, daily activity tracking, and over 110 sports modes.

Under the hood, the smartwatch is powered by the ATS3089 chipset, coupled with 4GB of NAND storage and 16MB of RAM. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS with Bluetooth calling support.

The Realme Watch S5 packs a 460mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 20 days of usage in smart mode. The company says that in regular mode the smartwatch can last for 16 days on a single charge.

It has a 5ATM water resistance rating and is compatible with devices running Android 9.0 or iOS 11 and above. Additional features include an always-on display, music controls, customizable watch faces, and a functional crown.

Realme Watch S5 is offered in Rock Gray and Sand White color options. Its sale will start from June 5 at a special launch price of Rs 7,499 ($80).
