Oppo joins the AirDrop party | Infinium-tech
Google initially launched AirDrop support in Quick Share only for the Pixel 10 family, but then brought it to other devices of its own. Recently, it announced that Android phones made by other companies would get support for the new Quick Share (which works seamlessly with Apple’s AirDrop), and today Oppo has confirmed that it’s joining the party.

Oppo explains: “Without installing third-party applications, users can easily and securely transfer files between Oppo smartphones and iOS, iPadOS and macOS devices, improving cross-platform interoperability”. Oppo says that this feature was developed in partnership with Google and MediaTek.
Previously, Oppo relied on its own O+Connect app to share accessories with the iPhone, but it required a third-party app to be installed on the iPhone for it to work. Needless to say, the Quick Share method is much more user-friendly.
