Oppo Find X8 Ultra to be thin with ultra-big battery | Infinium-tech
Oppo is already working on the Find X8 Ultra, revealed Zhou Yibao, product manager of the Find series. According to the executive, the new phone will be thinner than its previous model but will bring a big improvement in the battery department with a new cell that will have a 6,000 mAh capacity.
The manager revealed that the Find X8 Ultra will have an IP68-certified body to avoid water and dust ingress and will have a glass back, possibly with a matte finish. The body will be thinner than 9.5mm (the thickness of the Find X7 Ultra) and will also have a small camera bulge.
Talking about the battery, this is no surprise. OnePlus, another smartphone brand from BBK Electronics, has already revealed that its next few flagships will feature lighter batteries with higher capacity than the current Li-Ion cells; it is logical that sister company Oppo will also use Glacier battery technology.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is likely to feature a quad-cam design with two periscope shooters at the back, while the front panel will be a quad-curved OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution.
