OnePlus confirms the Turbo 6’s massive battery, reveals how thin its camera island is | Infinium-tech
OnePlus is unveiling the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V on January 8, and the brand has revealed some of their features with two videos just a few days ago.
Now OnePlus has also confirmed the handset’s oft-rumored 9,000 mAh battery capacity with an interesting detail. The Turbo 6’s camera island extends just 1.7mm over the top of its rear.

It’s not exactly flush, RedMagic-style, but very close. Obviously, the Turbo line isn’t focused on camera quality (one could argue that none of OnePlus’ recent devices are), which allows for such small camera island protrusions, but it’s a nice achievement nonetheless.
The OnePlus Turbo 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8S Gen 4, while the Turbo 6V comes with the Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 instead. The Turbo 6 has a 165Hz refresh rate screen, the Turbo 6V has a 144Hz refresh rate display. The Turbo 6 will be offered in silver, black and green, the Turbo 6V in blue, black and white.
