Nothing cancels the CMF Phone 3 Pro and you can probably guess why | Infinium-tech
The CMF Phone 2 Pro wasn’t launched until April last year, and its successor is still nowhere to be seen. Last month we heard that the CMF Phone 3 Pro would arrive in the third quarter of the year, with a release window most likely ranging from August to September.
Unfortunately, this is not happening anymore. Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis has revealed that there will be no CMF phone launch this year. The reason is easy to guess – memory prices.

This is not surprising, after all the CMF line was ultra-budget from nothing, and the cheaper the phone, the more negative impact it will have from rising memory prices. Evangelidis says that the company “couldn’t make a phone that felt like a real step up for the CMF at a reasonable price”.
While there won’t be any new CMF phones this year, there are “several new products” coming from the brand, including some in entirely new categories. Evangelidis has also revealed a new nothing phone coming soon – could this be the phone (4)? We will have to wait and see.
