New Oppo A5 appears online with a massive battery | Infinium-tech
Oppo is working on another A5 smartphone and it is coming with a bigger battery. The device was spotted in hands-on photos, where the model number was seen, allowing us to find the device on TENAA.
The images and listing revealed a 6,500 mAh battery (6,330 mAh minimum rate, split into two cells) and a 6.7” AMOLED panel.
This is the third Oppo A5 since its launch in 2018, followed by the second Oppo A5 in 2020. The Oppo A series is incredibly popular domestically, covering a large price spectrum from ultra-cheap entry-level phones to solid midrangers. ,
Here, the device will borrow the front panel of the A5 Pro with Full HD+ resolution and a FP scanner below the display, while on the back, we have a dual 50 MP + 2 MP camera combination on a squircle island.
The main difference here will be the Snapdragon 695 chipset with just a 2.2GHz CPU, while the battery will support 45W fast wired charging. Oppo rarely launches the A series outside China, and we expect this A5 to debut in the domestic market first.
