First spec details for the Poco F7 and Redmi Turbo 4 leak | Infinium-tech
Today the first specifications of the Poco F7 coming to China have surfaced, although not directly. A leakster on Weibo has shared some information about the Redmi Turbo 4, which should be launched only in China and then rebranded as the Poco F7 for international markets. We are saying this because the Poco F6 was a rebranded Redmi Turbo 3.
So, the Poco F7 (and Redmi Turbo 4) should have a “super large battery” (we assume this means at least 5,500 mAh), and a “1.5K” flat screen, as well as a plastic frame. The Redmi Turbo 4’s model number is reportedly 2412DRT0AC, while the Poco F7 should have 2412DPC0AG for global markets and 2412DPC0AI for India.
Small F6
Although the “2412” in it means December 2024, note that Xiaomi and its sub-brands don’t always stick to launching new devices in the exact month indicated by their model numbers. The Poco F6 was announced in May, and its successor will likely be unveiled around the same time next year.
The aforementioned Chinese leakster has speculated that the Redmi Turbo 4 could be powered by the Dimensity 8400 or a “downgraded” (we assume this means underclocked) Dimensity 9300 chipset, but this is just speculation, please keep that in mind. The Poco F6 uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, for what it’s worth.
