Motorola Edge 70 Pro goes official with a 6,500mAh battery, Dimensity 8500 Extreme SoC | Infinium-tech
Motorola Edge 70 Pro has been launched in India as the latest addition to the Edge 70 lineup. It joins the Edge 70 Fusion introduced in early March and the Edge 70 that launched late last year.
It comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that offers full-HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
On the rear, the Edge 70 Pro sports a 50MP Sony Lytia 710 primary sensor with OIS, paired with a 50MP ultrawide unit. It also has a multispectral sensor and an LED flash. For selfie, Motorola has provided a second camera of 50MP with auto focus.

The handset packs a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 90W wired charging. It also offers 5W wired reverse charging support.
Other specifications include IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating, MIL-STD 810H certification, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. For connectivity, the phone has dual 5G support, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E and GPS.

The Edge 70 Pro runs Android 16 out of the box and is promised three years of Android OS updates with security patches.
It is available in Pantone Lily White, Pantone Titan and Pantone Tea color options. The device measures up to 7.29 mm thick, has a plastic frame, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front and weighs around 190 grams.
The 8GB/256GB variant of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is priced at Rs 38,999 ($415), while the 12GB/256GB model is priced at Rs 41,999 ($445). The sale will begin on April 29, with availability across Flipkart, official Motorola India online store, and offline retail outlets.
