iPhone 18 Pro series’ Dynamic Island cutout dimensions leaked | Infinium-tech
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to arrive later this year with upgraded displays and smaller dynamic islands. Now, a fresh leak has surfaced, revealing the exact dimensions of the display cutout on the Pro model.
According to tipster Ice Universe, the iPhone 18 Pro models will have a much smaller Dynamic Island Cutout, measuring 13.49mm in width. By comparison, the existing iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have a cutout of 20.76mm.
This means a reduction in size of approximately 35% compared to existing models. Recent rumors have suggested that Apple may move the Face ID hardware to the back of the display on the iPhone 18 Pro models.
Apple’s upcoming flagship Pro iPhones are also rumored to use LTPO+ OLED displays. Notably, the entire iPhone 18 lineup is also said to offer advanced selfie cameras.
