The Infinix Hot 70 is already official in Bangladesh, and ahead of its global announcement on May 25, the brand has shared some details about the phone’s design and the rest of the Hot 70 series.

Infinix is ​​set to bring different looks, and the Hot 70 series will be available in a total of 12 colors.

The Thermo Orange colorway, in particular, will feature a neat color-changing trick up its sleeve, with the ability to change color when exposed to extreme cold and heat. The phone will offer a light orange color out of the box, which can change to a more saturated orange color when placed in the freezer for 5-15 minutes. On the opposite end, if you apply a hairdryer to the back, the phone will turn the exposed area a lighter color.

This process will also allow pattern creation through thermal reaction for a more personalized look.

The cool purple and green textured variants will bring a different approach with their gradient back, introducing discreet elements like feathers that refract light. These two colorways also come equipped with Infinix’s Crystal Mood Island, which features iridescent light refraction properties around the camera island.

More subdued colors like Night Pulse (black), Silver Dancer and Dive Blue will give up the color-changing properties of their peers. Regardless of appearance, all Hot 70 units will measure 7.49mm and weigh 195 grams. All variants of the phone also get an active Halo LED status bar below the camera, which offers programmable lighting effects for notifications, charging and gaming.
