Honor MagicPad3 Pro 12.3” announced with 165Hz OLED, SD 8 Gen 5 and 10,100mAh battery | Infinium-tech
While the Honor 600 series has been making headlines for the past few days, the brand has also expanded its tablet lineup with the brand new MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3″, which was announced today in China. As the name suggests, it is a slightly smaller version of the MagicPad 3 Pro 13.3, which was announced last year, and it comes with a number of distinct differences.

Instead of the LCD panel found on the MagicPad 3 Pro 13.3″, you get a 12.3″ OLED with a 3,000×1,920px resolution, an adaptive 60-165Hz refresh rate, and a 15.6:10 aspect ratio. The display is rated at 3,000 nits peak local brightness and supports stylus input via the optional Magic Pencil 3.

There’s also a chipset change with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 replacing the SD 8 Gen 5 Elite. You can configure the MagicPad 3 Pro 12.3″ with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, although all versions are limited to Wi-Fi connectivity. In terms of construction, the Pad 3 Pro 12.3″ has an aluminum chassis that is 4.8mm thin and weighs 450 grams. There is a 13MP camera on the back while there is a 9MP shooter on the front.

The software side is covered by MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and Honor is also bringing a dedicated PC mode, which features a desktop environment with window apps. You also get a 10,100mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging and up to 27W reverse wired charging.

Honor MagicPad3 Pro 12.3″ comes in Starry Gray and Moonlight White colors. Price in China starts at CNY 3,999 for baseline ($586/€501 converted). 8/256GB trim and goes till CNY 5,199 for ($762/€652 converted) 12/512GB version. The first shipment is scheduled for April 28.
