Honor confirms that the Magic series will get 7 years of OS updates and security patches | Infinium-tech
Honor Magic V6 started its global rollout last week with the launch in Malaysia and Singapore. Honor says that the new foldable flagship will reach Europe soon. Meanwhile, the company wanted to confirm that it and other Magic-series models will receive 7 years of OS updates and security patches in the EU and UK.
This isn’t a new development — last year the company committed to a 7-year update window for all Magisk devices. Meanwhile, more affordable phones like the Number series are getting 6 years of support.

Honor has cool new features cooking up – for example, Magic OS 10.0.0.160 will introduce virtual permissions. These will let you work around apps that refuse to work without a certain permission, but without granting them any actual access.
