Here’s when the Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 is coming | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s Galaxy Ring successor is coming next year, according to a new report out of Korea. The Galaxy Ring is slated to launch in 2024, so that means it’ll have about three years on the market before it’s replaced — a rarity these days in the tech world, where every product is on an annual refresh cycle or, in some cases, perhaps a two-year cycle.
The report in question states that the Ring 2 is arriving early next year, so it could be unveiled alongside the Galaxy S27 family. For the Galaxy Ring 2, Samsung is reportedly focusing on battery life, comfort, and sensor accuracy – and these are probably the biggest pain points of the original, so the strategy certainly makes sense.

The upcoming device will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, more comfortable to wear and will come with a battery life of 9-10 days. Sleep analysis should be more accurate, and there will be some “expanded insights” related to heart health. Future rings in the series (but not the Galaxy Ring 2) may also come with non-invasive blood glucose measurement technology.
