Here’s when Apple is starting mass production of the iPhone Ultra | Infinium-tech
There has been some controversy recently regarding the release window of the iPhone Ultra, with one report claiming there were delays, which was then immediately refuted by another source, and then another.
Today we get another ‘confirmation’ that the iPhone Ultra will be unveiled alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September as scheduled. The hinge-related issues have reportedly been resolved, and mass production of the iPhone Ultra will begin in late July. This information comes from a report by Korean media, which reportedly originates from “Apple supply chain officials” in both Korea and Taiwan.

The same sources claim that Apple has finalized “key specifications” for the iPhone Ultra, including the display, case and “mechanical components”, and the phone is now in the preparation stage for mass production. Foxconn will handle production of the initial batch. The first round of trial production was conducted in April.
It’s still unclear whether the iPhone Ultra will be released at the same time as the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but it’s looking more likely that it will at least be announced at the same event in September.
