Google’s ‘The Android Show I/O Edition’ is back for a second year | Infinium-tech
Google has officially confirmed that the Android Show will return for a second year, with the event scheduled to take place next week ahead of Google I/O 2026, which begins on May 19.
In a video shared on social media, Google announced that this year’s Android Show I/O edition is scheduled to take place on May 12. You will be able to watch the pre-recorded program on YouTube.

According to Google, the year 2026 is going to be one of the biggest years ever for Android. We’ll have to wait for the show to find out what this actually means.
The event is likely to showcase upcoming Android 17 features along with other consumer-focused updates. Google may also offer a glimpse at its alleged unified platform that merges ChromeOS and Android.
