Google seeds Android 17 QPR1 Beta 4 with several bug fixes | Infinium-tech
Google has started rolling out Android 17 QPR1 beta 4 to eligible Pixel devices. The latest beta comes about three weeks after Beta 3, which was released shortly after the Android Show: I/O Edition 2026.
The Android 17 QPR1 beta 4 update is rolling out to supported Pixel devices starting with the Pixel 6a. Notably, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are absent from the release list and have not received the new build.

As for the firmware versions, the Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro are getting build CP31.260522.006.A1, while all other eligible Pixel devices are getting build CP31.260522.006.
Google’s official changelog for Android 17 QPR1 beta 4 highlights several bug fixes. These include a bug that caused the mouse pointer to disappear when using an external display, and an issue where the screenshot shutter sound continued to play even when the device was in silent mode.
The update also fixes a bug that resulted in frame drops and jittered footage when recording video at 5x zoom during panning, and more. Google is expected to release the stable Android 17 update very soon.
