Google Pixel 10a review – GSMArena.com tests | Infinium-tech
Introduction
Alphabet game going on! The Pixel 10a and iPhone 17e launched together, bringing a new take on the affordable Pixel and economy-class iPhones. Today, we’ll explore the new edition of Google’s A series, the Pixel 10a.
The Pixel 10a comes with fresh colors, an improved design with new Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and a flat camera setup on the back. Strangely though, this is the case with upgrades.
The Pixel 10a looks like a re-released Pixel 9a. It has the same 6.3-inch P-OLED screen with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, the same Google Tensor G4 chip with 8GB of RAM, and even the same 5,100mAh battery.
The cameras are also similar. There is a 48MP primary camera on the back, along with a 13MP ultrawide camera. The selfie camera is another 13MP ultrawide shooter.

Well, at least the connectivity specs have improved – there’s now support for Bluetooth 6.0, Satellite SOS, and fast wired and wireless charging. And the phone naturally comes with the latest Android 16.
Nevertheless, the Pixel 10a still comes across as a solid phone with a higher price than usual, which may make sense for those with older Pixel models. Plus, with a second camera and a high-refresh-rate display, we can immediately tell that it’s already better than the iPhone 17e. But we digress.

With the device released a full year later, we would have liked to see at least a chipset update or a lower launch price here, but we didn’t get any of that. So let’s take a look at what else the Pixel 10a offers beyond what’s written in the spec sheet
Unboxing the Pixel 10a
The new Pixel comes inside an incredibly thin paper box with a color matching the phone (lavender in our case). It comes with the phone and a USB-C cable.
