Google expands Gemini in Chrome to many more countries | Infinium-tech
Google’s Gemini in Chrome is now available in many more countries than before. AI chatbots are now built into browsers on desktop and iOS in Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. Full list of countries is available here.
Unfortunately, the EU still doesn’t get it. Maybe later. Gemini in Chrome was first launched in the US last year, before expanding to Canada, New Zealand and India in March.
As the name suggests, it’s Google’s Gemini – but with Chrome built in. This means it can easily ‘see’ your Chrome tabs and windows and help you with what’s in them.
It can summarize content, compare information across multiple tabs, use Nano Banana 2 to create and edit drawings, and much more. It can also use deep integration with Google apps to do things like schedule meetings in Calendar, check location details in Maps, send emails in Gmail, and answer your questions about YouTube videos. And it can do all this in a sidebar, which means you don’t even have to leave the page you’re on.
