eSIM by AT&T launches for World Cup visitors with unlimited data | Infinium-tech
AT&T recently announced the launch of a new service called eSIM by AT&T. It’s aimed at people visiting the US, Canada and/or Mexico, and the selection of countries makes sense when you consider the fact that the FIFA World Cup is taking place in those same three countries from June 11 to July 19. AT&T is targeting it at people who will be traveling to North America for World Cup matches.

As you can see below, the eSIM by AT&T comes in four ‘sizes’. A day pass is $3.99 and is available for the US only. The seven-day pass is $15.99 for the US only, or $24.99 for all three countries. The 15-day pass costs $25.99 in the US or $39.99 for all three countries. Finally, the 30-day pass can be yours for $40.99 for the US only or $59.99 for all three countries. All these prices include taxes and fees.

You get unlimited data on your phone with 5GB of hotspot access. Unlimited talk and text passes are coming soon. To get an eSIM through AT&T, the prerequisite is, of course, that you have an unlocked smartphone that supports eSIM. You will need to download the Connect on Demand by AT&T app from one of these iOS App Store Or Google Play Store for Android. Once you reach the US, you can use the app by AT&T to purchase an eSIM and activate the service.
Jennifer Robertson, AT&T EVP and GM, said:
