Apple’s Dynamic Island will live on, new rumor claims | Infinium-tech
According to a new rumor from China, Apple is having some trouble placing the Face ID sensor array under the screen. It has been rumored several times so far that the company is working on effectively destroying the Dynamic Island by doing so, thus leaving only the camera sensor with a hole in the screen.
And yet, if this rumor is true, it looks like Dynamic Island will remain in the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max as well. Apple will make the island smaller, but it will still be there.
The company is still a ways away from a proper “full screen” experience without any lag. That is, if it’s accurate. This is a huge deal, so like all other rumors on this matter, be sure to take it all with a pinch of salt.
