Apple launches personalized recommendations for the App Store | Infinium-tech
At its Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple announced a new feature coming to its App Store: Personalized Collections. In fact, these are app and game recommendations tailored to you. They’ll be based on your interests, and come with app notes that explain why specific apps are recommended.
Tailored recommendations may appear on the Apps, Games, and Search tabs, and they will evolve over time based on your app usage and downloads. Personalized Collections will begin rolling out in English in the US this week. Apple has promised that they will be working in more languages and more regions “soon.”

Game developers will be able to display special offers to attract and engage players in Apple Games apps, using feature nominations to propose in-game offers or limited-time discount plans to the App Store editorial team.
Later this year, developers will be able to showcase their apps on the App Store with rich images and videos that will appear in product page headers and search results. Apple says developers will be able to enable subscriptions for groups and organizations using two new options to “easily create multi-user in-app purchasing experiences.”
Group purchasing lets a customer purchase multiple subscriptions as a single purchase and then invite others to access them. The invite functionality will be handled by Apple, making the process seamless. And with App Store bundles, developers will be able to partner together and offer users “more for less.”
