You can now use Siri to activate Samsung SmartThings routines | Infinium-tech
The latest update to Samsung’s SmartThings app for iOS brings with it a cool additional feature — the ability to activate Routines with Siri voice commands. This includes routines you create in the SmartThings app.
This works through compatibility with Siri Shortcuts, which is a built-in iOS feature that lets you automate multi-step routines. You can drag and drop many actions from SmartThings to Siri Shortcuts, but you can also access routines created in the SmartThings app, not through Siri Shortcuts.

So this is definitely a win for the interconnectedness between ecosystems. Samsung says this could help “bridge the gap between Galaxy and Apple devices, making it easier for everyone in the home to stay connected”.
This update also lets you view your SmartThings devices and device groups on your Apple Watch. And of course you can control them and run automations right from your wrist. Your five most recently used devices will also be displayed inside iOS Live Activities.
