Xiaomi Watch 5 unboxing – GSMArena.com news | Infinium-tech
Xiaomi’s latest Wear OS smartwatch is here, and it means serious business. Meet the Xiaomi Watch 5, a no-compromise smartwatch with a massive battery. Before we look at the numbers, let’s do an unboxing.
The Watch 5 comes with Xiaomi’s typical two-pin magnetic charger. We’re not fans of it. First of all, it ends up on a USB-A connection, not USB-C, which isn’t ideal in early 2026. Second, the two-pin design means you’ll have to fiddle when placing the watch down to charge. It would be much easier if Xiaomi went with a universal magnetic design like Samsung and OnePlus.

Apart from the charger, the Xiaomi Watch 5 is as close to a no-compromise smartwatch as you can get. It runs Wear OS 6, powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, and also has a BES2800 low-power chip for low-end tasks.
The watch features a 47mm stainless steel case and a flat sapphire glass layer over a 1.54-inch AMOLED display. The weight of the watch without strap is 56 grams.

What’s really impressive is the battery. Xiaomi Watch 5 has a 930mAh power pack. It is very big. Compare this to the OnePlus Watch 3’s massive 648mAh battery – the Xiaomi Watch 5 has a 43% larger battery!
Xiaomi reckons you can get a total of 6 days of endurance – that’s unheard of for a Wear OS watch!

Design-wise, the Xiaomi Watch 5 is a classy watch. It has a timeless design with a silver and black casing with dual lugs on both sides. On the right side of the watch is a rotating crown which also acts as a pusher. Below this there is a workout button.

Friends, we are doing a full review of Xiaomi Watch 5. Keep an eye on him!
