Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro debut with 11.2-inch 144 Hz 3.2K display | Infinium-tech
Apart from the much-awaited Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi also unveiled the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro at its event in China today. These are almost flagship tablets, but not quite, as they’re using upper-midrange chipsets: the Pad 7 comes with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, and the Pad 7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3.
They both have an 11.2″ 3200×2136 LCD touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness, and an 8,850 mAh battery, but the ‘vanilla’ model charges at up to 45W, the Pro goes up to 67W.
The Pad 7 has a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera, while the Pro has a 50 MP rear and 32 MP front-facing shooter. Both models run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, presumably on top of Android 15, although this is not yet confirmed. You get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on both.
Both tablets come in 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB RAM/storage combos, with the Pro also having a special 12/512GB version. The measurements between the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are the same: 251.22 x 173.42 x 6.18 mm, and each weighs exactly 500 grams. They will be available in both black, blue and green colors.
The Pad 7 will be priced starting at CNY 1,999 (about $280 at current exchange rates).
