Xiaomi 18 render leaks, shows an iPhone 16 Pro lookalike | Infinium-tech
Chinese smartphone makers’ obsession with Apple and ‘imitating’ the Cupertino company’s designs shows no signs of stopping. Today a new render has been leaked in China, allegedly showing the Xiaomi 18, which is scheduled to be unveiled in September.
There’s still a very long time until then, which is why you should take it with a grain of salt, but anyway, here it is: the iPhone 16 Pro in all its glory. Sorry, we meant Xiaomi 18. Take a look:

Comparisons with Apple’s devices from 2024 are largely inevitable. The design of the camera island is very close, albeit larger, to Xiaomi’s. The curvature of the corners seems almost identical, and if you remove the Xiaomi and Huawei logos, you’ll be hard-pressed to find any normal person who doesn’t think it’s an iPhone.
Anyway, according to previous rumors, the Xiaomi 18 will have a 6.4-inch OLED screen, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 SoC, and not the 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, which is also coming this year and will be the top of Qualcomm’s line. It will reportedly be reserved for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max due to its price being too high.
