Will the Red Magic 10 Pro survive a bend test? | Infinium-tech
Today the Red Magic 10 Pro was officially launched internationally. And now, just hours after the launch, the phone has been put through a durability test by Jack of JerryRigEverything on YouTube. As usual, this means the screen will be tested for both its scratch resistance and burn resistance, and the phone will also be attempted to be bent out of shape.
So, if this all sounds interesting, get cozy, grab some popcorn and/or your beverage of choice, and click play below.
If you couldn’t watch for whatever reason, here are the details. The device has an RGB fan with an outlet in the frame, which is probably why it has no IP rating, and no camera bump – both of which are very typical features these days, so it’s interesting to see them.
The screen glass scratches at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, with deep grooves appearing at level 7 – just like every other smartphone. The frame is definitely aluminum, as are the buttons. After being exposed to direct flame for 15 seconds the pixels of the screen start burning and never recover, so avoid using this in real life.
Finally, the twist test. The Red Magic 10 Pro continues to deliver great colors. You can fold it from the front, or the back, and there are no cracks, no bends, no damage whatsoever.
