vivo Y31d quietly launched with 7,200mAh battery, IP69+ rating and a 4G-only Snapdragon | Infinium-tech
The Vivo Y31d was quietly unveiled – although it looks similar to the Y31 and Y31 Pro, there are some key differences. The main one is a 4G-only chipset, a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2. The other significant difference is the larger 7,200mAh battery (the other two have decent-sized 6,500mAh batteries).
The Y31d comes in Glow White and Starlight Grey. It measures 166.6 x 78.4 x 8.39 mm (8.49 mm for the White color) and weighs 219 grams. The phone is rated “IP69+”, which promises protection against splashes, rain, high-pressure water jets, and submersion in water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes.

Despite its relatively slim build, the Vivo Y31d packs a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery. This is enough for over 13 hours of MOBA gaming, over 14 hours of navigation or almost two days straight of video playback (45 hours).

The 44W FlashCharge system promises a 1% to 50% charge in 43 minutes. And there’s also a bypass charging option if you want to play games on external power. The battery is rated for 6 years of use.
The body of Vivo Y31d is made of plastic composite, but the camera island is made of metal. The camera is said to have a 50MP main module (f/2.0 lens) with a 2MP helper at the back and an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera at the front.

On the front is a 6.75″ LCD with a 720 x 1,570px resolution. It’s a 120Hz panel that can reach 1,250 nits of brightness. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side.

The phone has dual nano-SIM slots and is a 4G-only handset. It also supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and has a USB 2.0 port. There is no NFC on board. There’s also no headphone jack, but at least the phone has stereo speakers (with 400% volume boost).
The Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 is paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 128GB or 256GB of storage (UFS 2.2). It will run on Android 16/OriginOS 6 out of the box.
