The Nothing team reveals how it designed the look of the Phone (3a) Pro | Infinium-tech
Nothing (3A) will launch the series on March 4, but the company has started revealing some details about the upcoming models. The latest video introduces phone designers who discuss the design process in length.
There are two major imagination decisions that designers need to be made before working – the performance and camera has a major impact on the final product. And on that topic, nothing phone (3A) Pro will have an exciting feature – a 3x periscope.

The design process starts with sketching things on paper, then moves forward for computer design and even playing with components. There are three goals. First, the design has to look good. Second, it is to be practical. Third (and most important), components have to be really fit. This is where the new Periscope module presented a challenge as it is larger than a specific camera module.
In the video, you will see dozens of and dozens of repetitions of various camera island layouts. Above you can see what nothing is solved. In the video you will hear why this is what was chosen.
This is not all – nothing is offering a camera button. The team considered adding a red dot to it, anything that is included in the design language, but decided against it as it would not work well with all colors. Instead, settled on a separate finish (shiny) for the team button-like this, it stands out, but can be colorful with any colorway.
Gliff interface has been re -worked. It still has three main segments, but each section provides more control than before.

Anyway, nothing is a vanilla phone (3A) is also incoming, it will be launched with Pro. And there is nothing in the work a flagship (3) design also works – it is technically in the video, but is completely staining, so there is no spiiler.
