The Galaxy S25 Edge can record Log videos with its selfie camera, other phones to be updated too | Infinium-tech
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series was launched with log mode for the video, a feature that was backported with a UI 7 update in the Galaxy S24 series. The log video can be recorded with all rear cameras, but not a selfie camera – not yet, anyway.
Now with a UI 8 on the way, there is evidence that the Galaxy S25 model will have a log support for video and pro video mode when recording with selfie camera for many old models. You can see togle in these screenshots which were shared by @Devofipos,

In the second screenshot you can see that the wrong color (and possibly zebra pattern) exposure monitor togle is available to help you identify under-exposed areas in the frame.
Log videos are not intended for direct consumption, you have to improve color first – you can do this or let the gallery app automatically do (using editing suggestions).
Note that these screenshots were taken on the new Galaxy S25 age, which will be released later this month. The phone will come out of the box with a UI 7, which suggests that other S25 models can get it as part of the V7 update. According to this, according to the next month @DevofiposHowever, not all eligible phones can be a case, so they can wait for a long time.

The log mode for the selfie camera is apparently coming in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, which is based on a UI 8 build. It is not clear whether this feature will be added to the old Galaxy S24 series, however, however, though.
