Samsung Project Moohan XR headset’s pre-registration and launch dates surface | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s first Android XR headset was rumored to launch Mohon on September 29, but is allegedly delayed by 21 October. While we are still waiting for the official confirmation on him from Samsung, a new media report has revealed that the Korean brand will start pre-registration for its first XR headset.
As ChosunbizSamsung will start pre-registration for Project Muhan on 15 October, which will continue till 21 October. The launch is now scheduled for 22 October. This timeline applies only to South Korea, as Project Muhan is first asked to be available there, with the availability gradually expanding to other markets later.
Project Muhan
Samsung has developed a project Muhan with Google and Qualcomm. It runs Android XR and is powered by Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip. Previous rumors claimed that the project would be priced at the project Mooohan between KRW2,500,000 ($ 1,785) and KRW4,000,000 ($ 2,855) in South Korea, and Samsung aims to ship around 100,000 units of the headset. However, the number will be adjusted according to the demand.
