Samsung planning mid-December release for One UI 7 Beta, sources claim | Infinium-tech
A few weeks ago, a rumor claimed that the One UI 7 beta would start launching the week of November 18-24. This apparently didn’t happen, but another rumor detailed a release timeline for the new OS version starting with the Galaxy S24 series getting it in the first week of December.
We’re not there yet, but it’s quite possible that this will happen too – according to sources who spoke to Tarun Vats, the One UI 7 beta rollout will begin in mid-December (ie the second or third week). If that name sounds familiar, Watts has been keeping a close eye on Samsung’s firmware development and he reported the first beta build on Samsung’s test servers earlier this month.

Note that the mid-December deadline is for Phase 1 countries: the US, Germany and South Korea. The countries in Phase 2 are the UK, Poland, India and China, but there is no word on how long it will take to move from Phase 1 to 2.
This could easily happen after the New Year, if the mid-December report is correct. And that is, if you have a Galaxy S24, owners of S23-series models and older will have to wait longer.
You’ll need even more patience if you want to skip the beta and install the stable release as well – its release timing is unclear, we can say for sure that it’s not happening this year.
According to the leaked timeline (the accuracy of which is now in question), the beta period will last for two months, so the stable One UI 7 can be expected in February. This is right around the time of the expected launch of the Galaxy S25 series, which will likely run One UI 7/Android 15 out of the box. Of course, the actual length of the beta period will depend on how small it is.
