Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold launches in the US, sells out in minutes | Infinium-tech
As promised, Samsung brings its latest and greatest smartphone to the US today with the Galaxy Z Trifold. The handset goes on sale today for $2,899. That’s $900 more than the Galaxy Z Fold7.

An unknown number of phones were available on Samsung’s official web store and Samsung Experience Stores. We say “were” because the Trifold sold out in about 20 minutes. And while that sounds impressive, Samsung isn’t disclosing any unit numbers so we don’t really know how much demand there was.
Samsung had already run some flash sales in South Korea, and availability there was initially extremely limited.
The Galaxy Z Trifold was only available in Crafted Black and a single 512 GB storage variant.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Z Trifold is more of a tech showcase than anything else. It also wants to attract foldable enthusiasts, or even tech enthusiasts in general, so even at $2,899, Samsung is selling the device at a loss.
