Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to borrow this feature from the Galaxy Z Fold line | Infinium-tech
Samsung has just started shipping the Galaxy S25 devices, and we are already focusing on the next generation – in particular, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This is already in the initial prototyping phase, and that the prototypes are missing a visible selfie camera cutout in their display.
This, according to a tipster over X, means that Samsung wants to go with an under-display camera for its next slab-style flagship smartphone. The Korean company is already using such a unit in its Galaxy Z fold line for the folding display, but we hope that the quality will improve the quality for S26 Ultra, otherwise it will be a dud, selfie-wise .
Now, even though this rumor is not just to make someone’s goods and post on X, keep in mind that we are talking about very early prototypes here, and a lot can change from this point. But there is a small chance that it is accurate and wants to join Samsung Nubia and make a flagship device with an under-display camera.
According to the previous rumor, the S26 Ultra can actually be called S26 Note. It is already rumored to come up with a bright and more efficient performance than its predecessor, as well as 200 MP periscope telephoto camera and an exinos chipset.
