Samsung Galaxy S25 series gets sixth One UI 8.5 beta, possibly the last | Infinium-tech
At its grand Unpacked event in San Francisco, Samsung launched the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, and all three are running One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. The company has been beta testing One UI 8.5 on its previous-generation flagships, the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, for quite some time, and a new build has been released today.
Following the fifth beta, which arrived just a week ago, the sixth beta is now out for those enrolled in Samsung’s beta program. The latest build has been identified as ZZAO.

It fixes several issues related to Bixby, Sketch conversion in Gallery, Now Bar and Now Brief text and icons, a force shutdown when changing camera settings, and changing the lock screen style. Animations related to notification cards have been improved.
The update comes as a 568MB download on units in the beta program, and includes the February 5, 2026 security patch level. Now that the Galaxy S26 family is almost in stores, we can expect the One UI 8.5 update to be released soon for S25 devices. In fact, this may be the final beta. only time will tell.
