Samsung Galaxy A36 review – GSMArena.com tests | Infinium-tech
Introduction
The next generation Galaxy A model is here and there is a midrange for everyone! Today we meet the most balanced of Samsung New Midrangers, Galaxy A36.
There was a time when Galaxy A numbers mean to separate screen sizes – the greater the number, the larger the slab would be. Galaxy A73 or Galaxy A90, remember the largest phone once? Samsung has finally settled on a universal performance size, and A16, A26, A36 and A56 all get a 6.7 -inch AMOLED screen.
What can you ask in addition to your “terrible intelligence” in Galaxy A36? Well, in addition to its slightly larger 6.7-inch display and updated software, you will also get 45W fast wired charging and a separate hardware platform with a minor collision in GPU performance.
That’s it. Most.
The back trio of the cameras is borrowed from the Galaxy A35 – 50MP OIS primary, 8MP ultravide and 5MP macro. There is a 12MP front camera, but when it may look like a downgrade from 13MP on A35, it is actually a better unit, so if you are counting then a camera upgrade.
The Galaxy A36 A35 – 5000mAh has the same battery capacity, but we are happy that Samsung has brought maximum charging power to 45W.
Finally, the Galaxy A36 boots with a UI 7 from the Android 15 box, and it can expect six major Android versions in the coming years.

Unboxes Galaxy A36
A thin paper box consists of a Galaxy A36 ship, which has a phone, 3 A-Retted USB-C cable and a SIM ejection pin.
If you want to use 45W fast charging, you can opt for Samsung’s your 45W power adapter, or any compatible USB-PD charger. Note that unlike the Galaxy S25 series, you will need a 5A-rated USB cable to reach 45W charging power that can do it with a 3A cable.
