The suspected cause of these delays is the new silicone ear tips that appear to burst upon removal. The bursting renders the tips useless as they cannot be reattached and users are forced to install one of two replacement sets which is not an ideal solution as those tips are different sizes. Many Complaints has appeared on reddit With users who have had their ear tips ripped off when removing them.

Samsung released a Step-by-step guide There are instructions on how to remove the Buds 3 Pro silicone tips safely. The instructions state that you should not bend the ear tips or use your nails during the removal process.
