Red Magic Nova gaming tablet announced with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC | Infinium-tech
Red Magic has recently announced its new gaming tablet, named Nova, which is the successor to last year’s Red Magic tablet. And like its predecessor, the new device has the most capable chip currently available in the market.
The new Nova tablet runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (AC variant also known as the Leading Edition with higher-clocked 3.4GHz main Cortex-X4 core), paired with 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, or 24GB/1TB memory configurations.
The LCD has a diagonal of 10.9 inches, offers a 2,880 x 1,800px resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio and supports a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The tablet also features super-resolution technology for Genshin Impact to enhance visual fidelity.
The system is powered by a 10,100 mAh battery, which is more than enough for a 10.9-inch tablet. The battery supports up to 120W charging, allowing it to charge up to 50% in just 15 minutes, while a full charge takes less than 45 minutes.
You will get a 20 MP camera on the front and a 50 MP camera on the rear.
The Red Magic Nova enhances the gaming experience with its 4-array speaker system and large X-axis linear vibration motor, delivering crisp and accurate feedback. It offers exclusive features in Peace Elite, Asphalt 9, PUBG Mobile, and Knives Out.
To keep the powerful hardware running smoothly, Red Magic has designed a 9-layer passive cooling solution, as well as an active cooling fan running at 20,000 RPM.
The iconic semi-transparent design is now available on the Nova tablet as well. The device features aluminium, glass and RGB lighting. The available colours are Cyclone and Snowfall.
The tablet is currently only available in China, but will be launched in other markets soon. The entry-level 12 GB/256 GB option is priced at CNY 3,999 ($565), the 16 GB/512 GB trim costs CNY 4,499 ($635), and the top-tier 24 GB/1 TB model costs CNY 5,599 ($790).
