Realme’s 300W charging tech demoed in leaked video | Infinium-tech
Realme is all set to unveil its 300W wired charging solution at a dedicated event in China on August 14. This was rumoured earlier as well, and now the company has confirmed it.
Today, a video has leaked showing the technology in action even before it is officially announced. As you can see in the video, the phone takes 32 seconds to reach 15%, and in 35 seconds the battery is already at 17%.
This is certainly very impressive, but let’s not forget that Redmi announced its 300W charging system last year, and we’re yet to see it used in any devices. So we hope Realme doesn’t wait that long to put it into a shipping device.
We might actually have a better chance with Realme, as it has made phones with 240W charging support, and 300W isn’t really that far off from that, while Redmi’s current devices are at 120W. Interestingly, new talks claim that Realme might go above 300W to overtake Redmi.
By the way, keep in mind that the phone will not be launched at the August 14 event, only the charging technology will be demonstrated.
