Realme 14 Pro+ showcased with a cold-sensitive color-changing panel | Infinium-tech
Realme announced its 14 Pro+ and 14 Pro smartphones today, though the company left out most of the specs. It confirmed that they would have a cold-sensitive color-changing panel and revealed their design.
The 14 Pro+ will have a triple camera on the back, while the 14 Pro will have dual shooters.
We can also see a new triple-flash system for night-time portraits, and Realme is calling this feature MagicGlow.
The panel was designed in collaboration with Velour designers, and it responds to cold temperatures, unlike previous color-changing solutions, which change color when the panel is exposed to sunlight. Here, the pearl white color will change to vibrant blue when the device is exposed to temperatures of 16 degrees Celsius or less.
The Copenhagen-based design studio said it was “delighted to collaborate with such a visionary, young brand.” Chase Xu, VP and CMO of realme, said that the 14 Pro series “brings the aesthetics and functionality of realme smartphones to new heights.”
The Pearl White edition will be unique to each user, as the company has used a special fusion fiber that involves over 30 stages of craftsmanship, ensuring that each back has a different pattern.

We also learned that the Realme 14 Pro+ will feature a quad-curved display with a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, but the size and resolution are yet to be confirmed. It will be IP68 and IP69-compliant and also TUV Rhineland-certified as a rugged smartphone that can withstand accidental drops and water exposure.
