Poco will launch an Ultra phone for the first time ever | Infinium-tech

Poco is soon going to do something that has never been done before. And that is – launching an ultra phone. The Poco F7 series is coming soon, and we were expecting the Poco F7 and Poco F7 Pro. But now there is a twist in it.

Thanks to GSMA’s IMEI database, the Poco F7 Ultra has been confirmed. Its model number will be 24122RKC7G. It appears with the Poco F7 Pro. So this makes us wonder if the F7 family will have three members or if the vanilla model will simply be removed to make way for the Pro and Ultra.

POCO F7 Ultra and POCO F7 Pro have officially appeared in the GSMA IMEI database. This is the first time that POCO will be announcing a smartphone called “Ultra”.

Interestingly, the model number of the Ultra reveals the fact that it will be a rebranded Redmi K80. That model is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It should feature a “2K” flat OLED display manufactured by TCL.

No other details are known yet, but we expect more details to emerge in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
